At Charlec Coating Systems, we work on commercial and industrial projects that require genuine technical knowledge — parkade waterproofing, cementitious urethane in commercial kitchens, polished concrete in high-end retail, concrete protection systems on infrastructure. This isn't paint-roller work. It's skilled trades with real product knowledge and real accountability.

We're a growing operation and we're always looking for people who share those standards — whether you're an experienced flooring installer, a concrete technician, or someone newer to the trade who is serious about learning it properly.

We are based in Vancouver and serve all of British Columbia. Projects range from one-day commercial fit-outs to multi-phase new construction installs. WCB coverage provided on all projects.

Field
Flooring & Coating Installer

Experience with commercial epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane, or cementitious urethane systems. Ability to prep concrete, mix and apply multi-component coating systems, and work efficiently on commercial job sites. Comfortable with surface preparation equipment — grinders, shot blasters, vacuums. A strong work ethic and attention to detail matter more to us than years of experience.

Type: Full-time or project-based · Vancouver & surrounding areas
Field
Concrete Surface Preparation Technician

Experience operating diamond grinders, shot blasters, or scarifiers on commercial concrete surfaces. Knowledge of surface profiles (CSP) and preparation requirements for different coating systems. Ability to assess concrete condition, identify issues, and prepare slabs properly before coating installation. This is one of the most important skills in the flooring trade — if you do it well, we want to talk to you.

Field / Technical
Polished Concrete Technician

Experience with wet or dry concrete polishing systems, diamond tooling progression, densifier and sealer application, and achieving specified gloss levels. Knowledge of different concrete substrates and how to adapt approach based on slab condition and aggregate. Commercial polished concrete is a growing specification in BC retail and institutional construction — skilled technicians in this area are in demand.
